BiographyHiphop Renaissance man, the artist's artist. Mike Wird is an educator, organizer, entrepreneur, Bboy, DJ, Emcee/Poet, producer, writer, musician, hiphop music recording artist, natural holistic health advocate and sustainable living practicioneer, an organic permaculture gardener, Hiphop community cultural consultant and spokesperson and community liaison. He is originally from Denver, CO and now resides in Boulder, CO with his wife and 3 children.

As a Regional Coordinator for the Southwest region of Hiphop Congress, Mike is a leader in connecting youth orientated communities to national and international art, music and social justice groups. For the past 10 years, he has been active in the Universal Global Hiphop cultural movement. He is a Member of International Denver based Hiphop music group Moetavation as well as the co-founder of Hiphop crew Boogie Yard Massive and a co-founder of the national Hiphop and Breakin' dance culture event Rockers Rumble, hosted annually at the University of Colorado Boulder. Mike is also co-founder of the educational Hiphop organization called HYPE (Hiphop.Healing.Youth.Programs.In Education) and a program facilitator for youth based sustainable living organization called Future Fruits, bridging generation gaps through connecting with nature, arts, culture, and community.
